Quatre garçons du New Jersey, issus d'un milieu modeste, montent le groupe "The Four Seasons" qui deviendra mythique dans les années 60. Leurs épreuves et leurs triomphes sont ponctués par les tubes emblématiques de toute une génération... Le film s'inspire de la comédie musicale, lauréate d'un Tony, qui a touché le public du monde entier : "Jersey Boys" s'est imposé comme l'un des spectacles de Broadway à la plus grande longévité et a triomphé dans la plupart des villes où il s'est joué, aux Etats-Unis et ailleurs. Désormais, grâce à son adaptation pour le cinéma, Clint Eastwood a réussi à transposer les moments d'émotion et les séquences musicales dans un film destiné à un plus grand nombre de spectateurs encore.
